Please give me some more information, so I can help you out.
Are you using Vista or Windows 7?
How did you get Compatible mode message?
Did you open a problem then it happened or I happened straight away after you run fixVista.reg or fixWindows7.reg?
Have you installed Khmer OS System font included it ?
If the method did work for you. run restoreVista.reg if you are using Vista, run restoreWindows7.reg if you are using Windows7 to go back to your previous condition.
you can do it manually,
1. Install Khmer OS System font
2. Run registry editor by going to Start, in search programs and files, type Regedit, and run it
3. go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts,
delete Daunpenh (TrueType), Khmer UI (TrueType), Khmer UI Bold (TrueType) registry value on the right panel of registry editor
4. go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes,
5. create new string value for daunpenh font by go to Edit > New > String Value
- rename New Value #1 to DaunPenh, then double click on it; in value date type Khmer OS System
6. repeat step 5, create “Khmer UI” string value name and “Khmer OS System” for value data,
7. repeat step 5, create “Khmer UI Bold” string value name and “Khmer OS System” for value data,
8. restart your computer.
